1- Short Adjectives:-
► To compare between two persons or things, we can use

Adjective + er + than

tall taller than
short shorter than
►old older than
young younger than
small smaller than
► Ahmed is taller than Ali.
► The shop is smaller than the supermarket.


► Adjectives that end in (y) after a consonant, change the (y) into (i) before adding (er).

- noisy noisier than
► An elephant is heavier than a tiger.
- English is easier than Arabic.
► Adjectives that end in a consonant after a vowel, double the last letter before adding (er).
